Possible Final Logos

Here are some refined logos and one of them is potentially the final logo. I cannot decide which one to pick since there were many opinions during critique as well as preferences. Comments are appreciated since it will help with my decision.

Communications System

Cleen’s communication system is composed of a self mailer that contains information the brand, what they stand for, and what they offer to their market. It also contains Cleen product coupons and a free reusable tote bag with free products in it. This is a link to the system application which will be the next step of the identity process.

Logo Concepts

Here are some logo concepts for Cleen

Company Profile

Cleen is a dedicated company that considers itself “socially responsible” by specializing in eco-friendly cleaning supplies that are 100% natural, genuine, and environmentally responsible for a healthy home. It is an honest and genuine company that stays true to its client.

Our niche market is established by environmental-conscious consumers that want a healthy home and a cleaner world. What better than a 100% natural products that are good for people and the environment too?

Brand’s Competition Logos

Many of the competition logos use geen and blue colors in their wordmarks and icons. They also use organic shapes to convey their brand as natural products.  The only exception is the Method logo which is more solid and uses purple.
Analyzing and studying the competitions is a good start because it helps to find ways on how a logo can stand out from the rest.

DHA 3352 GDII: Identity and Symbols

This studio class introduces ways to create and establish a business identity. It will teach me how to create successful logos and identity applications for a brand while applying my existing knowledge in design.

The first in-class activity was to create a persona collage of myself. The objective for this assignment was for the class to interpret the composition and say what it represented. They had to guess a person’s story depending on what they saw and see if they were correct or not.

Logo Re-design

This assignment served as a starting point for our own brand development and to help us understand the importance and functionality of symbols, words, and what they say to an audience.
We researched companies that had unsuccessful logos due to ineffective design and collected 3 to 5 examples.

We then did some research on these companies in order to determine their story and see what they were really all about. Finally, we selected one of these companies and redesigned their logo.

I selected a company called Woodstream. This company is a North American manufacturer of wood-plastic composites that helps plastic injection molders to transition to more economic and environmentally friendly materials. These wood-plastic composites can be used and applied for many things such as packaging and transportation, consumer goods, construction, and automotive. Their products are stronger, lighter, cheaper, and greener than regular plastics.

This company has a lot of potential and can do very well in the long run. I believe that with a new logo, their story can be reinforced and the company can look more professional.

The redesigned logo is a combination of solid and organic shapes that convey an environmentally responsible and professional company that is willing to help other companies save money, reduce emissions, and become conscientious.
